A failed TRT proves that the there are reading problems, but there would still be a possibility that the drive might read the disc if given the chance to slow down and re-read sectors.

Provided the disc will play so.....this test is flawed as there is no way to watch it and the disc was never copied back to the hard drive.
There has to be a better way to test discs and using
Nero doesn't do it.
