Nero (recode) can't handle copy protected discs so you'll need to rip your movies to your HDD with a nice ripper (http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm) and then compress them with Nero Recode and burn them to a SL disc. There are many guides available here and elsewhere on the interwebz that make this a breeze.
