Not sure what it means but that is nothing new.
It asked if I would like to get rid of DVD Decrypter.
I have that and DVDFab which I use sometimes with DVD Shrink
Any suggestions as to whether I should do anything with these programs.
Hopefully the new 1 Click is so good I will never need them again and should just free up the space. Recommendations?

Thanks again
Dan

DVD Decrypter , DVDShrink and DVDFab are fairly inert
These Programs only Run when you open them
You may want to Exit DVD43 - before opening them ... but :
They are not your Problems
I have all ; DVD Decrypter , DVDShrink and DVDFab(free) installed
.... but don't really use them much

OK , Here's the skinny :

Green= No Problem - Leave these be

RED = BAD : Definite Issue

Wow ..... Bingo ...

Here's the Usual .....

Let's check something .....

Go to > Start > My Computer
> Right Click on DVD drive > Properties > Auto-Play tab

What do you have selected for the "Action to Perform" for 'DVD Movie" ?
This should be set as "Take no action"
OR
Set only for your DVD Player ( WinDVD/ Power DVD )
- be sure to close your 'Player' before opening 1Click

What do you have selected for the "Action to Perform" for 'Blank CD" ?
This should be set as "Take no action"

While here in the DVD Drive 'Properties"
Do you have a "DLA" tab ?
= Disable DLA

Would you happen to have
- Nero ( InCD )
or
Roxio ( DragtoDisc/ EasyArchive/ DirectCD )
- installed/active on your Computer ?

FAQ : Can other software conflict with the installation
and operation of 1Click DVD Copy?

Definite Problems :
DragtoDisc most probably -Must- Go ......

In some Set-Ups , Disabling DragtoDisc seems to be OK
- In others
It has to be REMOVED

If you don't use - Remove it

You can try again - with DragtoDisc -Disabled

..... but in most cases ..... it needs to be removed

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To Remove DragtoDisc
>> Go to >
> Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
> Look for a Listing for DragtoDisc
If Found > Select Remove > Reboot
If not separate listing for DragtoDisc :
>> Find the listing for Roxio ( or Sonic )
> Select Change
Select the DragtoDisc Sub-Component > Select Uninstall
>> Reboot
Let me know - if you need help finding the DragtoDisc program
We can simply delete the Filters - if it comes to that , but ....
It is better - to actually find and remove them with offending program
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Possible Issues ; Not Probable :
You should be Allright
As long as the Program using these Filters
- Is not Running and Disabled from Windows 'Start-Up'

Leave these for now .....

Be sure that ITunes is Disabled from Windows Start-Up

Finally ...

I'd recommend that you Try using EnditALL while Copying/Burning
... to free up your resources
... You might be surprised at what's running - in the background

That'll keep you busy
