Rendition isn't recognized by
DVD Shrink. It doesn't even see the DVD. If you think you'll get around that by using ripit4me, think again. That doesn't work either. Rendition is among the first of the double layer dvds that are taking over 8 gigs of the 9.4 gigs on a double layer, just for the movie. If you have
anydvd the current version 6.3.1.5, you need only right click the symbol along the bottom row of your PC to have the filles ripped off the DVD and onto your hard drive. I recommend you establish a directory in the C drive there called rendtion. The anydvd popup will ask you which directory to put it into. Put it there. It will take you some time. Then you can take the disk out and put your copy in even before shrink analyzes the files in rendition. You can then shrink the files into an ISO file and get yourself a nice burnable file. I found two others over eight gigs this past Tuesday: Silk and Goya's Ghost. The new anydvd feature will handle the problem easily.
