Basically what I want to do is get the video files onto my computer in a format compatible with a dvd editing program, so i can fiddle around with the videos, like make a music video or something(for personal use only of course ) I need to know if dvdfab wil do this, and if not, what program will?
Thanks!!

If the files you want to copy are unencrypted DVD files, you can copy them with windows explorer. DVDFab will copy any DVD files to your HDD by choosing the "folder" icon on the Target area. This will open a box that will let you tell DVDFab where to put the files. They will be in DVD format (VIDEO_TS folder, containing IFO, BUP and VOB files). It will also produce AVI, MP4 and other files types if that is what you editing program requires.
