I tried again with the latest free version of Opera. It is a nice program, BUT I went back to IE 6 (WinXP). Reason: I couldn't get Opera to load a stock-charting service I use and I got tired of setting View/120% or View/150%. IE just loads and plays all the pages without having to rescale. This is a problem I have noticed with all browsers except IE. The others can't seem to get it right. IE6 is the worst browser out there except for all the others! Firefox Ha Ha, Safari Wormy Apple. And another thing: IE 6 takes up the least desktop real estate (without going to the full screen mode) of anything else, including IE7. Someone posted about Avant: that's one I haven't tried but plan to give it a try..... depressed and downhearted, with them ol' browser bluze again, gamma1.
