Kind of a no-brainer. Buy or rent as many HD-DVD movies as you like and enjoy them. Nobody is going to take away the player or the discs. At current prices, even the A-30 is a good value as nothing but a up-scaling DVD player. But of course, without the HD audio, you're only experiencing 1/2 the thrill.

Don't be a lemming and quit something just because you read somewhere that it's "dead". It's not dead yet.
