If at all reasonable, it would be nice if the resulting movies are also HD, but maybe that is not realistic? I have also bought a SONY DVD recorder RDR-HX750 and plan to buy an HD-ready TV. Sony's accompanying program Picture Motion Browser lets me create DVDs with the clips in AVCHD format, but I have not been able to play these in the DVD recorder (it says there is no title), not has it been possible to play these DVDs in Sony's Player for AVCHD.
My question is: What would be a reasonable path for me to follow?

A dvd player has never ever support for such an HD format.
Maybe browse videohelp.com fro more info.
