I had too many things set on the PC that interrupted the GPU, apparently. Now that I've gotten rid of those, it runs  I haven't tried to game on the system, or rip a DVD for that matter, we'll see how the GPU client recovers after the machine gets some "actual" use.

I've been thinking about getting a little 1650pro/xt for my P4 just to fool around with the gpu client, and from what I've read it would get 2-3x more ppd than I get with the cpu client to boot
