Are we saying here that the bottleneck to ENCODE a file is my harddrive!?  I thought the encoding depended on your processor power.
I have been messing around abit with the DVDFab config (changing bitrates, etc..) and now I managed to encode at a faster rate: 82 frames/sec. (My CPU keeps "swinging" between 15% and 40%. (See attachment) |
Click on the "Resource Monitor" button, open the Hard disk, and watch it's performance.
