Re: Horse Race between HD & BR Which One Will Succeed?

@ Jesterrace. Seems like I hit a sore spot. For people that have new hardware it would probably be a good idea to get these options and a lot of people I know got new stuff over the holidays. Why get a capable TV and buy a 108i player? Doesn't make sense too me, might as well get a 108i TV and save money. Yeah the A-30 is HDMI 1.3 but not deep colour capable. Compare A-30 - A-35 . If you look at the price on the Toshiba link I gave the A-30 is $449.99 and the A-35 is $ 549.99. So they are not cheap either. Dan is right that the V 1.3 is not yet being used but will be in the future. Blu-ray still has the 5 free movie offer running since last fall.
I could do this until I was blue in the face as you have sided with the Toshiba. I am staying nuteral like I said I like both.
Btw no problems whatsoever with my Sammy other than too many FW updates.
