The Yamaha 661 ($500) will do. It doesn't have the HD audio decoders, but you can feed it a lossless PCM 5:! stream and let the player decode. It will also let you over-lay DD decoders like PLIIx onto 5:1 to create 7:1. So you don't really NEED bitstream HD audio and HD decoders, it's just nice to have it. The Onkyo 605 has the HD decoders, but does not allow you to over-lay decoders onto 5:1 sources to get 7:1. Right now, virtually all HD discs have 5:1 audio, so the ability to over-lay is a help.
