Re: Alchohol 120

It's like DaemonTools /it will create a virtual optical drive/. If you have an image of a disc you do not have to write it out to use it or to see what's in it. You just have to mount it and it'll be like it would be in one of your cd drives. It has it's own format too so if you have a .mds then this is the application with which it was created and can be opened /burned out too/. Alcohol 52% is the same only without the .mds creation and burning option.

For mounting the steps are:

After install on the side menu there's a button called "Virtual Drive", click it and you'll get a pop-up.

Here accept everysetting and make sure you set the number of virtual drives to anything above "0". Now hit "ok".

Next to the side menu there should be a white window and under it another window listing your drives /the optical ones/ with different colors. The one with the yellow color is your virtual drive you just created.

Right click on it and select "Mount image", now select the image file you want to mount and hit "ok".

For image creation the steps are:

On the side menu there's the button "Image making wizard" click it.

Now select the drive /optical/ you would like to creat an image of /since you have the disc in it/. Then hit "Next"

Select the place where you want to save the image file, give it a name, and select the format /you can pick the default one which is it's own format or CloneCD's format or even .iso/ then click "Start"

For image burning the steps are:

Click on "Image burning" in the side menu.

Select the image file you want to burn out then click "Next".

Select drive to use for burn and click "Start"
