First of all I'm not so familiar with PS2 chips so I would suggest you do some research for the best chip (PS2 forum via google) and find a reliable dealer who can also install the chip for you which is quite complicated in many cases. An alternative is getting some swap magic discs where you don't need any modification on the console this can be find via the forum search or google.
