ok, so i was using the previous version to 3.1.5.0 (which i am now using) and was experiencing problems everytime i would try to do a backup..however, dvdfab gold would burn them fine...now, when trying to use the upgraded version, i am getting the same error message "no media insterted please insert a compatible media to start the write process." I have tried backing up the same dvd 3 times now over the last couple days, the first time (and this was also the first time using the program since the upgrade) it went all the way to 90% burn and then cancelled...now its just feeding me the compatible media bs. I have yet to try the program with a different dvd however, and possibly it could just be the disc i am trying to back up? (the incredibles)
Signals - you suggested to the original poster.."You might also want to try changing the default I/O Mode from Auto to SPTI in Common Settings--> Read." how do i go about doing this? also, how do i know if i am using an external drive or not, or if there is a problem with the usb? sorry, i am so computer illiterate these days...
any and all help/suggestions would be great.
