Re: Editing DVD Format A Little Help

Files:

Video_TS.BUP
Video_TS.INO
Video_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.INO
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB
VTS_01_4.VOB
VTS_01_5.VOB

It appears that I do not want to combine files as I will be to reconvert them. The simpler the method, the grater the chance that I will have success

Can I take the long way and just edit the files.

Can VideoReDo edit the files and leave them in the same format, with the same "Navigation Files". In otherwords, after the edit I can save all to my hard drive and use NERO to burn the files.

I have used DVDShrink with the "Create Video_TS directory checked. It creates the file on my hard drive and I use NERO to burn to a DVD as a data file (it works on my players and on my kid's player.)

Want to use the minimum noumer of programs to do this. If anyone can screw it up ,it's me. My wife is on me like "White on rice." and "If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy".

When you say an "Authoring Program", just what is Authoring?

Another reason is that I would prefer to avoid buying software that is just going to create more fustration for me.

Thanks for the help
