Hummm... Is your /lib directory a symlink to /lib64 on your Gentoo? In this case, a temporary fix would be to copy all the NeroXXX.txt files from /usr/share/nero to /usr/lib64/nero.
This ugly hack should work until the final version (which will be fixed

) is out.
