I just tried to back up That Thing You Do: Director's Cut R1. After I ripped it to the hard drive with AnyDVD, I blanked some crap with PGC Edit and opened the movie with Shrink. The running time was off and there were many unreferenced cells that weren't on the original DVD. The movie uses interleaved cells, so that you can play the director's cut or the theatrical release. AnyDVD seems to have made all of the interleaved cells unreferenced. I didn't edit any files in the main movie's VTS. Has anyone else ripped this successfully with AnyDVD? It might be best to use DVD Decrypter until this problem is resolved.
