The issue or problem that you are having (little squares across the screen) I think may be with the DVD Player and not the
DVDFab Platinum software since this is not a normal issue the others have had with the product.
I would try cleaning the Lens in the DVD Player and if the problem still happening then you may want to buy another DVD Player, if you do buy another DVD Player hook it up play the disc that is giving you this issue and if it happens on the new DVD Player you can always return it and you are out of no money
