Can you tell me exactlty the brand name and model and I will do a search to see what I can come up with because I think this is where the problem is because you are able to use TDK Disc's which means your burner is seeing blank media but not all types |
My Lightscribe drive is a TSST Corp CD/DVDW TS-H652L. I went to the Toshiba/Samsung website looking for firmware updates. They had numerous references to the drive, however, updates weren't available to me because the source code was different since it was distributed through HP. I couldn't even find reference to this particular model drive on the HP web site. It's not even listed as an option for my particular computer. They have 2 other drives listed instead.
