I think this is very good thinking. I have been keeping up with the HD decryption over on Doom9, and understand about the key revocation process which can happen at any time. I believe what fengtao is trying to say is that once AACS is confirmed to be 100% cracked, then they will add the HD features to the Platinum software.
I just purchased a Xbox 360 HD Drive and used the Toshiba driver for it. While I can rip "King Kong" (Comes with drive) to my hd, my system is not up for playing the HD Movies yet. If you need to test if your system is ready to play
HD-DVD or Blu-Ray, I recommend running the Cyberlink Advisor which can be downloaded here -
