My Sony 810A (Benq 1640) had this problem for months and was driving me crazy , then a friend of mine opened it for me and replaced the "rubber belt" that you can see when the tray is open , now every thing is fine an the drive works flawlessly. It is the ultimate solution for Eject/Load mechanism flaws
