As far as whether or not this memory is better than Corsair, it's hard to say. Corsair has a very good reputation, however, Micron chips may or may not be compatible with certain boards. Most memory modules today do NOT use Micron chips. Many use Infineon. I use Crucial Ballistix which uses only Micron chips but I'm not using them in an Asus board. You'll have to check on the compatibility to find out.
