I'll try to answer your questions in order. You can start a new thread by clicking on the "newthread" button near the top left of the screen, just above the lower pink bar,on the forum's home (index) page, the same spot as the "post reply" button on this page. Help for the program is obtained here on the forum. The program author and his staff are frequent contributors. Search this forum for "fengtao" or "ting" and you will see their posts. Most DVDFab users get along OK without the kind of help files you may be accustomed to in, say, Microsoft Office; keep in mind that DVDFab costs much, much less. The resources that the low sale price supports are spent on upgrades, new features and the like, rather than the kind of extensive help that $4-500 buys. I'll take the low price every time. If you want to back up real data files (spreadsheets, word processing, still images etc.) DVDFab is not what you need. Try
