Ok. I tried DVDFab Platinum 3.0.5.2 beta and get the same result. I even tried cloning to an iso first, same result in exactly the same place (~50% complete).

You could always try Beano, unless it's lactose-related.
What read rate does Fab show on this disc, say 5 minutes into the copying/decrypting phase (Task 1), and is it any different for other discs that copy normally? I don't have Scanners to try, sorry. Error 400 covers a multitude of sins.
