Hey kinda new here but i am an anti-virus specialist, and here's some free tools that I have made for windows XP. Hope you enjoy them!
Virus/Adware Removal
ANETGames Anti-Virus 2006 4.0.2-
http://anetgames.the-developer.eu (free)
[Very simple "File Name" based tool which comes with 100 Definitions, but you should update it before the first scan to get the updates. Takes about 30 Seconds on 56kbps. Finishes scanning in about 1-2 Minutes. Its not too powerful, but it will detect many threats that come in through LimeWire, Kazaa, Gnutella... Gives the option of deleting it.]
File Quarantining
ANETGames QConsole V2-
http://anetgames.the-developer.eu (free)
[ This is a good tool that allows you to quaranting a single file, to a whole folder. It makes a quarantined file that is rendered useless. It's good for quarantining any adware stuff, and checking to see if it affects any programs that you use before deleting it. If that file did run with a program you used, then you can simply unquarantine it. ]
Also, it's not a download but a very good Free Virus removal service that i offer:
Simply email
ANETGames@gmail.com with the file causing trouble, and any symptoms you're having, including any other information you may have. If you're pretty sure it's a malicious thing, use my quarantine console to quarantine and send the file to me.
*Note to mods* Please leave my email here. I understand the risks that come with posting my email in a public area.

SysExporter utility allows you to grab the data
stored in standard list-views, tree-views, list boxes,
and combo boxes from almost any application
running on your system, and export it to text,
HTML or XML file. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/sysexp.html
WinExplorer is a utility that shows all system's
windows in hierarchical display. For every
window in the hierarchy, you can view its
properties, like handle, class name, caption,
size, position and more. You can also modify
some properties, like Caption and Visible/Enabled. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/winexp.html |
Just thought I'd warn to be careful what you download from nirsoft.
They "Could" be considered a very low level threat; However, i think nirsoft does have some very good and well-mastered tools.
Have a nice day =D
