you may want to try CloneDVD2 also made by slysoft for an exact backup copy. They also offer a free trial so you have nothing to lose seeing if this does the trick.
You have an option to make a 1 to 1 clone DL to Dl with Clone DVD2 or you can even compess it to fit a standard size DVD
