I have been using an ACARD AEC6280 with excellent results for several weeks now. The manufacturer claims its compatibility with most CD writers. Works perfect with my TEAC 512WE

This is running in a Dell Dimension 9200 running XP SP2 , 512Mb and 80GB SATA drive. No problems with the installation whatsoever. I highly recommend it.
