The "...enough space for installation." is because you're booting from a Win98 floppy...only support for FAT32 and the fact that you have no partitions defined on your new SATA drive. "Winnt.exe" is only for situations where you have a pre-defined partition setup and/or network based installations. You, my friend, need a good copy of the bootable XP CD and/or a working reader.
