Depends on the length of the content, the compression type used (MPEG2, MPEG4/H.264), resolution, and compression level. Techincally speaking it would be no issue to fit several hours of content onto a single disc. With MPEG4 you can actually get about 2 hours of 1280x720 with decent quality at 3-5GB, so yes it's certainly possible even with a 15GB HD-DVD. If you have any doubts, you can download free 1280x720 trailers and other video clips, judge the picture quality for yourself and calculate based on the length of the trailer how much could fit onto 15GB/25GB/30GB/50GB discs. Both HD-DVD and Blu Ray support much more efficient compression formats than MPEG2 used in DVDs. You might be suprised how much 1920x1080 content will even fit onto these discs if you use some of the better compression formats.
