I have an adaptec 1420A SATA raid controller, disk C: has disks set as raid level 1 (mirrored backup). Nero will not allow me to make an image backup of the C: drive. The C: drive is shown in disk backup as unallocated and is greyed out. Individual files can be backed up using file backup. But that won't work for a restore of the disk.

Is there a special driver update to load? This lack of recognition seems a bit odd, since the disk driver works with the OS and all other programs transparently.

I sent a support request to Nero support and they forwarded me a link to a FAQ list that had no information about my request. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
