OK I Have started the Nero CD-DVD Speed thing, my new drive

does support DVD-R as I burnt Destroy All Humans 2 to a Datawrite 16x at 8x and it worked amazingly. It didnt work however on Ritek DVD+R's. I will post the results of the test like you did, should be finished in 5 minutes.
