Well it would seem the poster doesn't really understand what they've done/are doing - so who knows what's really happened!
Excuse me? I don't think so. I've done this a million times with other programs on cds. This time I did it on dvd's, so I found clonecd and I used that to write my backups to cds. Unknowing that clonecd uses such a terrible system of format, I used clonecd because it could copy some games I wasn't able to copy and backed it up.

It just seemed weird that they'd even mention CloneCD as it can't 'build' images from files and so the only thing it COULD have done is READ a disc that they'd burnt in something else. The image read in CloneCD would have been written to files with the .000, .001 etc naming scheme.
It must be able to do something, because after I rar'd my backups into 4.37gb, clonecd allowed me to select them to be written to dvd's.
