Can someone tell me why I get this problem and how I can fix it??

I can play Command and Conquer Generals online quite fine, but it is Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour that is giving me the "Unable to establish a connection with Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour servers. Please check your internet connection." message. Isn't it supposed to be when one of the Generals games works, the other should?
