I have HL-DT-STDVD-RAM GSA-H20N ( LG) Dvd writer. first of all, how good is it?Secondly I bimaged and burnt a movie, it took a total of 55 minutes (Using Alcohol 120%) and it wouldn't let me burn above 4x speed, plus it really burnt at 1.9x average speed? Is my writer gone haywire? or is it just me?

Thirdly, I have PROSAVAGE DDR, p4 1.7, 256 RAM, Mercury motherboard, I have noticed some movies play jerkily on Power DVD, but it runs fine on VLC, and vice versa, and sometimes both play jerkily!!!!!!!

Plz tell me which is the best software to play movies properly with my configuration.
