(Normally 25-30 minutes) I checked the device manager to try and pinpoint the problem, and for some strange reason even though DMA is enabled when I start burning, it disables after approximately 2-3 successive backups. When I re-enable DMA and continue, the whole process starts again.

I have no issues whatsoever with version 2.9.8.3 and after unsuccessfully trying to find a “work around” for version 3, I gave up and re-installed version 2.9.8.3. I posted some information about this issue before, but my post was overlooked. I really need some help to resolve this issue. Thank you.

Fengtao, the same problem exists in this version. I backed up two single layer DVDs without any issues, then I tried to backup a dual layer DVD (Akeelah and the bee) and the computer froze, no error messages whatsoever. I then restarted, opened DVDFab Platinum, it reenabled DMA, and now I am trying again.
