UDMA4 isn't a plug, it's just a signalling mode on the data cable to your drive.

If you have a Parallel ATA harddrive in your pc, you can look at the Primary IDE Channel under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers in your Device Manager, and see which Ultra DMA Mode your drive is running. Chances are that it will be UDMA5 and your optical drive will run UDMA4 if the firmware allows it and you have an 80-wire cable.

If your pc is recent enough to use a Serial ATA harddrive then it will definitely be able to run UDMA4 if the drive/firmware and cable allow it.
