No matter how many times I read the original post, as it makes no sense. If you have a chip it gives a fuck whether you have a dashboard installed or NOT, it simply starts your game and that's it. If you cannot start your backups then something with your chip is not okay.
Go to xbox-scene for more info. As said, the dashboard itself has nothing to do with backup playability, if your machine played backups before installing evox then it should do it now aswell. Didn't you reflash your chip's BIOS with Evox ?
