Almost any pen is okay with DVDs, it's a different story with CDs.
i would appreciate a little more explanation regarding that psrticular statement. thank you.
are the usual [sharpie] permanent markers, fine/ultra fine point, ok for cds too?

as for the op, [well this might not actually help] but, am i glad i didnt fall for that 16x ty fad when
everyone else was getting them and started plastering scans oll over the forum! i almost freaked
[ya just like kg_evilboy] when i saw the 2nd post with the 2 week old dye degradations, that is
until i came to and realised it wasnt my media or my data, sigh! nonetheless, i still feel sorry for the op.

i might not be able to help much, as i have not used this particular media nor do i have as much
knowledge as the others posting in this thread, but i will still be keeping a close watch. this
kinda problem [newer hardware, software, firmware or even media going downhill in quality/
performance from previous generation] is in a lot of peoples minds now a days. i also hope you
get this particular problem solved!
