If you're lucky, you may end up with CMC manufactured Memorex (which burns OK as long as your burner supports it well - in this particular case, obviously not!), but I wouldn't like to take that chance - so I steer clear of Memorex.

Edit: And I wouldn't touch Ritek-made Maxells with a 10-foot pole, so I agree with the good Doc also.
