i'd call ahead before doing this. and mom and pop shops are more likely to have a machine believe it or not.
i worked at a
blockbuster for a couple years and we did NOT have a resurfacing machine nor did any of the stores in our district (and none of the hollywood videos did either). customers would regularly get irate and insist that we had one, but we were being jerks about using it for customers...
if your video store tells you they don't have a resurfacer, then they don't have one!
it seems like the original poster already has created the ISO though so the quality of the original disc doesn't seem to be the problem...it seems to be how to burn a dvd that's > 5GB to a SL disc. I don't know anything about xbox though.
have you tried a google search for that particular game?
