B. Same situation as above for removing the button graphic in the menu background. Hide the corresponding buttons as well. In the Main menu, you can use Bypass menu feature to jump to the Special Feature menu right away. The Features video is most likely in separate VTS, you can disable unwanted audio/subtitle streams at the VTS domain (Domain Content View).
I assume the purpose of doing A and B separately is to burn each onto DVD5. I think it's a lot easier to just compress it and not separate it. Or you just don't compress and burn to DVD9.
C. To merge 2-4 discs to one, use the Merge DVDs feature. You decide what to keep at the VTS level for audio/subtitle streams.
To convert 5.1 to 2.0, use an audio transcoder. More info here: Audio FAQ.
DvdReMake Pro works best with dvd files on HD, so CSS/RCE is probably already cleared by the ripper.
Other burning app you can try is Imgburn or Imgtool Classic. |
Hi
Thanks for the reply/tips.
As for A + B, I intend to use separate DVD5s as Blank Double Layer discs are expensive (to me at least!) in my home country.
I basically had a quick read at the guides for A + B but C baffles me!
I'm talking about audio transcoding stuff on AUDIOCODING.COM. Can you or any other members pin-point to what part of the website can show me step-by-step guide to transcoding original DVD 5.1 audio to 2.0 stereo? State which software I need.
Also, what about other software like PGCEDIT, MENUEDIT, IFOEDIT,
DVDSHRINK, MENUSHRINK, etc. Do I need these or any other?
CHEERS!
