That is exactly the kind of problems I've experinced. It seems there is a connection to the CD or DVD. If the CD/DVD is in perfect shape, this problem doesn't show up. 2 of 15 Verbatim 4x DVD-RW is working good and (wow!) one of my 20 old CD-RW also. All the others take somewhat 100 - 600 mb of data and suddenly this stupid sign is telling that the files are writeprotected and bla, bla, bla.

When using the working CD or DVDs, of cours I have the "InCD-is-veeeeeeeeery-slow"-problem.

I did try a demo of Dragon Disc.... seems lika whoever made that program doesn't have that kind of problem, but I don't know if it works good on all my DVD-RW or if I have other problems in my system except for InCD.
