crossposting is not allowed... anyways, with flashing to BS0Y you will void your warranty, as your current firmware is oem. you could also flash with 1653s CS0T firmware, but in both cases you will need a patched flasher. download a "crossflash" marked firmware, i recommend CS0T, here: http://codeguys.rpc1.org/firmwares.html#SOHW-1653S
