For the newbies (and we've all been there), knowing how to ask for help is often a challenge and maybe even a little threatening. Please try to put some effort and detail into your question(s). I believe Da_Taxman (Forum Administrator), summed it up as follows:

Anyway, here's a starter list of specifics, some of which, may help expedite your getting help:

What movie(s) are you having problems with?...it's likely that someone here, already has created a backup.
What application and version are you using?
Main Movie only, or Complete Disc?
What blank media are you using (MID)?
What burner are you using, how fast are you burning and is your firmware up to date?
Have you had success burning dvds with other software?
What is your operating system?
Free space on hard drive?
Defragmented your hard drive?
Are unnecessary applications closed down when reading/burning dvds?
Is DMA enabled on your burner (IDE controller)? Reference thread here.
Is "Enable Dual Layer Burning" unchecked, (unless, of course, you're burning to DLs)?
