I have fixed the communication issue by:

1) Remove all drives from the laptop.
2) Re-Install New drive (Pio DVR-K05) on top slot.
3) Reboot.
4) Pio drive is now the master and burns properly.
5) Shutdown and install original drive on the lower slot.
6) Update ASPI drivers.
6) Success. Both Drives burn, but the famous and hyped Pioneer is performing shamefully.
Any help you can provide me with would be appreciated. This is the current status with the drive as seen by Nero's Advanced DAE test:
