Not necessarily. The DRM license is downloaded to the local machine at the same time the music is downloaded from Napster (or Virgin, or Yahoo, etc). So WMP doesn't need to connect to the net to play the music. So, if you use a personal
firewall (you DO, don't you?), simply block WMP from internet access and what you play remains private.
