I'll try to be concise.
Have been using DVDDecryptor (DVDD) and
Roxio Easy CD Creator V7 (Roxio) to burn the Dvds for a couple of years to copy an occassional DVD, either because they were my own or I was going to be late getting them back to the rental store.
DVDD failed trying to decrpyt "The Cave" (Sony Publishers) with an error on the first VOB file three times. I had this same problem a couple of months ago and figured big deal, but the second one (the cave) caused me to reconsider so I bought
1Click, downloaded the free decryptor driver and thought I was in fat city.
Ha-ha. Turns out that I churned out 5 coasters before I realised that 1Click and the driver weren't telling me that the copy process failed. I'm not the brightess bulb in the hallway, but it seemed to me that the DVDD failure and failure of 1Click were related.
So, the question(s) become - where is the fault? Is the driver masking the fault or is 1Click ignoring it? If it's the driver, is there a better one? Given my infrequent usage, I don't want to spend a lot of money on this.
By the way, I think the user interface sucks (to use the current idiom). I could do a better job in my sleep.
