I've now updated the drive firmware to 1.03. Not sure if I should give it another shot. I don't think it'll make much difference. | have you used WinBTypeV2.exe to set the booktype of DL media to dvd-rom? check WinBTypeV2.exe (download it if you don't have it) with factory firmware that is your only option to set booktype
