I cannot lay this issue at NVE's door in my case. I'm using v3.1.0.11 and the out of synch issue is only related to releases for a certain sci-fi program. Other video files are okay.

I found the videodub trick did not work on its own, I have to convert the AVI to a dixv AVI first. Possibly just the conversion may have helped on its own. May do some testing when time allows.
